    Description

    The rods for hardfacing steel surfaces which are exposed for abrasive wear. The rod‘s body  is made of thin walled mild steel pipe imbedded with superhard tungsten carbid (WC) grains.  The rods are used for new ones and for restoration of weared surfaces providing high resistant lay. After gas welding surface is to be grinded if smoothness required. For rough surfaces elektric welding is recommended  even without any flux (mortar impellers).  Best results  provide hardfacing details of screw blades, rock cutting saws, asphalt cutters teeths, lime or cement mortar impellers, earth moving mashinery – details which has long lasting working contact with abrasive materials such as gravel, dolomite, sand, ore, glass particles, nailed wood waste etc. I'm selling lots. 1 lot contains 16 rods 1kg (2,2lbs)
