I don't reload, but I have a few buddies that do.  So before I started experimenting with my vibratory tumbler, I asked a couple of them for some guidance.  I also did some internet "research" to see what others are doing.  I wanted to get it just right the first time.
I polish a wide variety of things. Some steel, brass, stainless steel, aluminum, pot metal, etc. Like the reloaders, I require deburred parts that are very clean. For some of my parts, that is as far as I need to go.  The fine English walnut does a faster / better job of this than the corn cob media in just a few hours.
For other parts, I need them to also be as brightly polished as I can get them with the least amount of manual or machine labor.  The corn cob media does a better job than the English walnut for fine polishing.
Note:
My cob media is large / coarse. I have one customer that told me it was too large for certain calibers of his reload casings, but that he could use it on the pistols and larger bore rifles.  I do not know the mesh size, but it is medium large to coarse. I love it for what I do
, but that is not polishing casings for re-load. O
ther customers have been positive about its usefulness for them.  So I would say avoid smaller calibers with this cob. One recent 7/7/17 customer advises "
this (cob) media should be used on 7mm brass, or larger only. Good stuff otherwise."
For those parts that need both, I found that I can blend the two medias and get the best of both worlds simultaneously!
I ran into the mentioning of using non-ammonia polishes and waxes over and over again.  Ammonia and brass are not good companions, it seems (especially for reloaders that need their brass to stay strong).  Actual waxes (carnauba and others) do not appeal to me because some of my parts that need a mirror jewelry-like finish will still require a few minutes on a buffer wheel (but oh so much less than before).  Other parts that in service are oiled bearing surfaces certainly do not need to have wax on them. So when the use of Nu Finish cropped up over and over on the web forums, etc. I had to give that a try.  Here was the one and only polish that contains neither ammonia nor wax!  I already use that on my trucks so it was easy to try that first cap full (what most people seem to say as a proper quantity... others say 2 tablespoons). It does a much better job than the Mother's or the Turtle Wax or the Maguires that I had tried earlier.
Now I'm happily set in my tumbling ways... thanks to the advisement and sharing of tips by others.  It's all good!
I was thinking that it sure would have been nice to get all that from one place at a reasonable price for right sized quantities of the long-lasting ground English walnut shells and/or the corn cob media.  This listing is my offer to you of exactly that.
The vibratory tumblers come in a wide range of capacities.  Mine holds 2 1/2 pounds. Somebody may only need a pound to top off their tumbler. Somebody else might have a smaller unit than mine that 2 pounds is all they need. and so on for 4 pounds and 8 pounds.  Some folks will only want the fine, nearly dustless ground English walnut.
This listing lets YOU choose exactly what you want / need so that you don't have a five year supply of everything just sitting around taking up space.

NOTE: The last photo shows two parts on the left that have not been tumble polished.  The others on the right were all polished (along with dozens of others just like them) simultaneously for almost three hours and include brass, mild steel and hardened steel.
