Black Forest Hand Carved Bear Bottle Stopper “Sit Up and Beg” Circus Bear German

Lovely Hand Carved Laughing Bear Bottle Stopper from the
Black Forest region of Germany.  The bottle stopper is made
of pottery on the bottom and has a lovely wooden bear to the
top.  The bear is sitting up,  begging and laughing.
Very nicely carved.  I think it depicts a circus bear.
Circa 1920.
Found in Europe.
Dimensions:
4” High. with cork,  2.8” high without the cork
It will fit into a bottle opening of 1.2” in diameter.
