    Description

An 'amphora' shaped vessel/vase made of hand blown layered glass with two "handles." Most likely late 19th c. German. It measures 12 inches tall and weighs about 4 lbs. 6 oz.
Light shows through the yellow glass with an extra layer of brown glaze on top (which has a crack in it but the bottle/vase itself is not cracked). The top opening has a crack with a piece broken from it. See photos for full details and condition.
This piece was my grandmother's (born 1898) whose parents immigrated from Germany in the mid 1800s.
